Is it true that honey should not contact with stainless steel?

The short answer: It's not true.
Normally, mild acid such as honey is totally non-corrosive to stainless steel (in fact, even normal steel also can't be corroding by honey).
Furthermore there's stainless steel honey spoon selling in the market: http://www.thefind.com/kitchen/info-stainless-steel-honey-spoon. If it is not suitable to use with stainless steel, I believe the production factory won't come out such product.
However Alluminium is quite sensitive to acid, so even there's no evidence support Alluminium and honey will have fatal reaction, still it is best to avoid them.
